OfflineI was reading in this mornings Toronto Star business section an article on HISA's. The chart included in the article shows General Bank of Canada paying 4.75%, Equitable Bank paying 4.65% & Home Trust paying 4.65% on their HISA's. Is there a reason these rates are not being included in the HISA Chart on this site? From my research these are not time limited promotional rates. Thanks

Interesting. I can't verify these three rates. Confounding of information from a reporter not usually doing finance reporting?

OfflineThe reason why they are not listed on the main savings account comparison chart is that you cannot open an account directly with them. You must go through a financial advisor or your investment account. 2/3 of them are currently listed on Norman1's table of brokerage investment savings accounts.
