OfflineI'm not sure how to interpret this condition:
"The Savings Deposit Offer will be deposited to the New Savings Account or Existing Savings Account where the Qualifying Deposit was deposited, within 12 weeks after all required conditions have been met, provided that the New Savings Account or Existing Savings Account is still open, in good standing, and all conditions continuing to be met at the time of fulfillment."
Does that mean that you have to maintain the full balance in the account for 12 weeks after Jan 28, 2026? If so, it will only be earning their regular HISA rate for nearly three months. Seems to depend on what they consider to be the 'time of fulfillment'. Confusing?

OfflineWhich condition would one fail to meet if one withdrew some or all of the "Qualifying Deposit" after January 28, 2026?
If funds will be deposited in multiple transactions, I would ask if all the funds will qualify. For some reason, the terms mention "the Qualifying Deposit" and not plural "the Qualifying Deposits".

OfflineI was seduced into the spring version of this. The agent who sold (mis-sold) me indicated that I could withdraw the original amount after 12 weeks and be eligible for( in my case) the $600 bonus. When I enquired why the bonus amount was not in the account after the 12 weeks there was some confusion initially and I was advised to return in a few days to check if it had been credited.
After a few days and the bonus was not still showing up I again enquired as to why and was then told that it would be another 12 weeks before I could collect my original deposit as well as the $600. I could have withdrawn my original amount deposited however no bonus would then be paid. The funds only accrued interest on the original $50,000 amount deposited at a rate of .85 per cent.
The wording on this offer is certainly misleading and hopefully not deliberately so.

Thanks for sharing your experience which makes me think this is too much hassle and uncertainty to participate in.

OfflineYes, there's a little detail I didn't mentioned. During the registration, the staff did asked for an amount I intended to deposit. I said ten thousands.
I presume the eligible deposit is to be from external before Sept 30th. From my end, I intended to write a cheque to fulfill this requirement. Then hope to reap for the benefits in due time.
TD is too big, with too many moving parts. A rep at the branch is sometimes just a hand. Sometimes, I do feel I am talking to "the hand" at the branch, over the phone, or during a chat 🙁
As always, I will be back to close this thread when that happens.

Offline@Jowett Are you saying you're being "mis-sold" on the 120 days for 12 weeks?
I have the T&C for that and it said 120 days

You would also be earning the (current) 0.85% on the deposit in ePremium, so another $28.33 or so and annualized ~6.9% on $10K?

The offer talks of "certain deposits" and "from another financial institution(s)", so I'd think multiple deposits would be fine, and they use the term "Qualifying Deposit" for the sum that comes in by Sept 30, but I don't work for TD!
It could be that the Qualifying deposit itself is a "condition" that has to be maintained for the 12 weeks to payment interval, but that would be very misleading given all the 120-day wording, and at least with brokerage promos funds can be withdrawn after the specified date but before the payment. I do bank there, and I may create an ePremium and push 10K into it for a small perk. If I do I'll confirm that withdrawal after Jan 28 is fine, and post back here - 12 weeks at the feeble 0.85% rate would make this non-interesting.

Maybe that was the issue. The current offer is named "F25 Q4 Savings Deposit Offer August 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025". Funds have to be on deposit still on
Sept. 30 + 120 days = Jan. 28.
ii. The Qualifying Deposit must be maintained in the New Savings Account or Existing Savings Account for a minimum of 120 days from October 1, 2025 – January 28, 2026.
Can't withdraw until
Sept. 30 + 1 day + 120 days = Jan. 29.

That's the impression I have as well. All the offer conditions are continuing to be met if one withdraws after Jan. 28 but before the offer payment is made, up to 12 weeks later.
