Yes, Scotia iTRADE can both push funds to and pull funds from the external accounts set up through Scotia iTRADE's EFT form.I've moved funds countless times in both directions.
Before opening a Scotia iTRADE account or any other brokerage account, make sure the fees are suitable. Scotia iTRADE has a $25 per quarter Low Activity Account Admin Fee for clients who don't have more than $10,000 total in their accounts with Scotia iTRADE and don't do at least one commission-generating trade in the past three months.
Thanks also for that, Norman1!
I initially missed your post 🙁

Thanks Norman ⬆It would seem that the USD versions remain Stable as well . . .
E.G. ➡ TDB8152 (TD US$ ISA) Interest Rate remains @ 3.90%
They're bound to change at some point ... it's just a matter of Tik-Tik-Tik.
Dean

As I have an iTrade account I have access to Scotia's F series ISAs so I always add a quarter percent to what is shown for Scotia on this chart.
Indeed. I use the F series versions too at Scotia iTrade. I think one can also get the Scotia F series versions at places like Questrade and CIBC IE, etc. but one may have scan through the posts of this thread to validate that.

OfflineI don't think BMO sells their own ISAs elsewhere. Heck, one cannot even find the BMT series ISA rates unless one goes online into their BMO Investorline account, and to add insult to injury, only the A series.
It is one reason why I only buy the F series MMF equivalent, BMO95142, in my BMO IL account in recent years.

OfflineGood Day,
I am familiar with NBC100 which I have been using for temporary situations without any surprises. (i.e. no fees, monthly composed interest, easy in/out, etc). As the current 2.05% is not on top of the above chart, I have been looking at the other ones listed.
Question: Does DYN6000 works the same way ? (i.e. monthly composed interest, no fees, etc...)

OfflineAll ISAs should work the same way. The primary issue is whether your brokerage will allow you to buy DYN6000.... or better yet DYN6004 which is the Class F version paying 0.25% more. https://ads.scotiabank.com/investment-savings-account

I should have mentioned that I used National Bank Direct Brokerage (https://nbdb.ca/).
To my surprise, they do offer DYN6000, but as this is a Scotiabank product, I am curious to know if anyone here on this forum has experience with this "mix".

OfflineThe only 2 comments I can make are: 1) The A class DYN6000 with a trailer fee of 25bps may be available, and maybe more likely than the F class DYN6004 with a 0% trailer fee, and 2) because these ISAs are bought and sold under the mutual fund FundServ system, certain brokerage might charge commissions for these IF they also charge commissions for other mutual funds.
I am not sure what else might be relevant. The DYN ISAs are simply products offered by the Scotia group of companies/divisions through 'brokerage channels'.

OfflineI hold DYN6000 (highest rate on Norman's awesome chart that I can buy, cannot buy DYN6004) in my NBDB brokerage and can confirm that there are no fees at all to buy or sell. It takes a business day to settle (like trades do) before being able to use the funds.
I don't have a large balance of it so it hasn't been a big worry, but would I have CDIC coverage from Scotia on it if all went to heck?

Even brokerages that charged mutual fund commissions always had an exception for ISA deposit funds and money-market funds. Apparently RBC has flip-flopped back to no commissions on any mutual funds, and I think Qtrade just did the same thing, but CIBC still has a mutual fund charge, but "Commissions on money market mutual fund transactions are waived." I don't thing there ever was an example of a commission on an ISA? Of course, that's why bank-related brokerages often didn't sell competitor ISAs, and "A" series ISAs usually... 🙂
