Personal Account, Joint Account
and EQ Bank Card balance (with

Current: 3.00%
New: 2.75%
30 Day Notice Savings Account Current: 2.75%
New: 2.50%
10 Day Notice Savings Account Current: 2.60%
New: 2.35%
US Dollar Account Current: 2.75%
New: 2.50%

*Interest is calculated daily on the total closing balance and paid monthly. For the EQ Bank Card, interest is paid into the linked Personal Account. Rates are per annum and subject to change without notice. For the Personal Account, Joint Account and EQ Bank Card, the current base interest rate is 1.00% (the “Base Rate”). Customers who add and maintain qualifying recurring direct deposits of at least $2000/month to a Personal Account or Joint Account are currently eligible to earn a bonus interest rate of 3.00% (the Base Rate plus an additional 2.00%) for the eligible accounts (the Personal Account, Joint Account, and the EQ Bank Card balance). Beginning on November 7, 2025, customers who add and maintain qualifying recurring direct deposits of at least $2000/month to a Personal Account or Joint Account will be eligible to earn a bonus interest rate of 2.75% (the Base Rate plus an additional 1.75%) for the eligible accounts. They lose more of their Shine, with each EQ announcement. sf-confused

The 10 Day Notice Savings Account now offers a more compelling proposition, given the spread tightening between the 10 Day and 30 Day. It's comparable to the top brokerage savings accounts (i.e., Scotiabank Series F), with only marginally less liquidity since the brokerage savings accounts take at least two days to settle, then a day to transfer out or in. sf-cool
