EQ adding Pre-Authorized Debit for bill payments such as mortgage, etc. | EQ Bank | Discussion forum

I noticed EQ have changed their SAVINGS PLUS ACCOUNT AGREEMENT (https://www.eqbank.ca/general-.....-agreement) to include Pre-Authorized Debit.

I had a chat with their online customer service and they will apparently bring the service online on Nov 6.
I think that is very good news. It's nice to be able to just have all the high expenses (mortgage, credit card bills) withdrawn from an account bearing a nice interest.
I assume that at the time they will provide the necessary info to set up the PAD (institution number, branch number).
That's it . I hope the info they gave me is accurate.
