The Globe &Mail reports today that HSBC card holders are being informed they will receive new RBC credit cards soon. It further stated most will get an RBC Avion Infinite Visa which is being enriched to include “no foreign transaction fee”.

I haven’t been able to find any confirmation or whether this will apply to existing card holders or just those converted from HSBC Mastercards. Would be a very nice inclusion for this 7-decade RBC client heading to Europe next month.

Anyone know more?

Based on all the messaging I've received as an HSBC Mastercard holder, I believe the "no foreign transaction fee" feature is only for those coming from HSBC.
