Looks like the $199 annual fee for the World Elite card is currently waived for the first year if you apply by the end of May. Maybe they're trying to pick up customers affected by the pending Rogers World Elite Mastercard devaluation.

I saw that yesterday! Sadly it is only for new customers! I got the free card 2 months ago but haven't used it yet.

How is Brim's application process nowadays? I remember it had a very rough launch and there were concerns about unnecessary questions like family doctor's name (if I remember correctly).

I applied only a couple of months ago. The process was straightforward. It asked what seemed like standard identity verification questions about what other accounts I owned.

Similar experience to Peter's. Easier than applying for a Scotia Bank's CC and 100% better than a Home Trust CC application (My only ever CC rejection!)
