Here are the terms for cashable term deposits:

Basically - you need to leave it in for a minimum of 30 days; after that you can redeem when you need to.

The new rate is 4.30%

Unfortunately, their rates just fell. I got my scholarship from school just a couple of days too late it seems. I was going to park it into the cashable term deposit, but now the rate is only 4.00%. The non-redeemable also fell from 4.65% to 4.35%.

I've really wanted to move all my money over to Citzens, but their Ultimate Savings account isn't even 4%. I guess I'm sticking with my HSBC Direct account at 4.25% for now.
