OfflineThanks Norman1, the process was easy.
I wonder though, what is and isn't a qualifying purchase, because it takes 5 weeks to know if they have given the bonus CT money, and of course that is longer than the 30 days to make such a purchase.
All I see here is " Purchase must be of item(s) eligible to earn CT Money ". The Triangle site FAQ has nothing that I could find.
A Google search provides almost as much vagueness and potentially makes it worse.
" Bonus Offers: Minimum spend requirements (e.g., $200) for bonus CT Money must be met on qualifying, pre-tax items in a single transaction. ". I see nowhere what, if any, minimum spend requirements exist for this MC signup offer, so perhaps the above is for something else?
At least if getting this card ends up to be useless and not used, I don't have to pay a fee for it!

OfflineAt Canadian Tire and Mark's stores, one should be able to know right after the purchase. The paper receipt shows the amount of CT Money earned or redeemed.
The Triangle credit cards serve as a Triangle Reward card. When asked for a Triangle Reward card, let cashier know you are going to pay with a Triangle credit card to collect CT Money.
† Rewards are in the form of electronic Canadian Tire Money® (CT Money®). Bonus CT Money offer not valid in conjunction with any other coupon, offer, discount or previous purchases. $150 bonus CT Money exclusive online offer is valid for new Triangle credit card members who apply online for a Triangle credit card by March 19, 2026. New credit card members must apply at triangle.com/150ctmoney, be approved for a Triangle credit card and make an eligible purchase in-store or online at participating retailers using their card within 30 days of approval to receive the bonus. Purchase must be made at a Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Atmosphere, Mark's, L'Equipeur, Party City, Pro Hockey Life, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, L'Entrepot du Hockey or participating Sports Experts stores within 30 days of approval to receive the bonus. OfflineI found a list of ineligible purchases at Triangle Rewards Program:
Eligible Merchandise

As of the date of these terms and conditions, the following items are Excluded Merchandise: gift cards, lottery tickets, hunting and fishing licences, tire disposal fees, tire taxes, Rug Doctor® rental charges, refundable deposits, environmental fees, repair charges, delivery or assembly charges, other store services (other than automobile service), inter-store sales, other store labour (other than labour for automobile repairs), donations at a discount, house account charges, towing charges, prepaid cards, phone cards, tobacco products or alcohol, Pit Stop® parts/labour charges, Canadian Tire Roadside Assistance® memberships that are purchased over the phone or on-line, premiums for credit card balance insurance or for insurance or extended warranties on items purchased with a Canadian Tire branded credit card, premiums for other Canadian Tire branded insurance products, cash advances, transactions using a convenience cheque, balance transfers and other cash transactions (other than cash transactions we may designate from time to time as Eligible Merchandise), any fees charged on a Program Payment Card, payments made to a credit card account, the value of any part or item traded-in in connection with a purchase, and any item that we are legally precluded from awarding eCTM in respect of. OfflineThanks so much!
The main thing is, there isn't a minimum dollar limit product purchase to get this $ 150- of CT money bonus. And yes, the receipt will show points made from a purchase, and that receipt is proof for 5 weeks later if CT bonus money isn't paid out.
Also, their exclusions are 'normal'/make sense to me.

OfflineCT M/C is GREAT for earning 1% on payments that would otherwise NOT qualify for any rewards any other way, for example, paying property taxes, utility bills that do not accept credit cards, or that usually charge a fee, etc. enabling 1000's of vendors to qualify.
Using CT M/C, the vendor does not know payment is coming from a credit card. CT has set up a system whereby payment appears to the vendor as a direct bank payment.

OfflineElectronic Canadian Tire Money (eCTM) does not have an expiry date.
eCTM doesn't expire as long as the Triangle Reward Account holding it is active every 18 months:
…
Expiration of Electronic Canadian Tire Money
We may expire the eCTM in your Triangle Rewards Account in the event that there has been a period of inactivity of 18 months or more. For the purposes of this section, “inactivity” means that there has been neither a transaction in which you have collected eCTM, nor a transaction in which you have redeemed eCTM during the period in question.
…
Those who have a Triangle credit card and use the card's bill paying service will have no trouble earning some eCTM every 18 months to keep the reward account active.

I'm confused. I have a Canadian Tire Triangle Matercard. When I check the point balance I see a note in small font that it expres in 4, 5, 6, etc. days.
Are you looking at the offers in the app? They show the offer expiring in x days.
That's for the offer though, not the earned CT Money.

Problem, as I initially feared - it's now SIX weeks (minus a day) since meeting the requirements, and still no $ 150- CT bonus money seen. I guess I have to waste my time now.
Most I have heard or seen received it within 2 weeks. Did you charge at least 1 transaction to the card within 30 days of receiving the card ? That is the one and only criteria to trigger the bonus.

Yes, I charged a purchase of multiple products at a CTC store on the day I received and activated the card, which was well within 30 days since applying and being approved for the card too.
I'll wait a bit more time, thinking this could just be volume delays because of the promo. If it doesn't happen in a few days, I'll have to phone them. I'll keep updating what happens here.

OfflineI had a problem receiving my $150 of eCTM for a previous incarnation of the offer. I had activated my Triangle Mastercard and made the required purchase. No sign of the $150 bonus after three months.
I called and was credited the $150 of eCTM.
My application wasn't connected with the offer. Agent explained that mine wasn't the only application that happened to. One had to apply through a link on that offer web page. There was an issue with the page. Some of the "Apply Now" links there were not done properly to connect the application with the offer!
It looks like Canadian Tire Bank is going to run the promotion again in a few weeks. The offer page now has the period April 23 - May 21, 2026.
