I think Tangerine is evolving on the their targeted offers. I heard *multiple* rates for new deposits since last month. In other words, there could be *multiple* jackpots on a single draw date. However, they were not yet properly identified.

Today I received the 5.5% promo offer until April 30 2024.
Better than a kick in the keester.
My spouse is on 6.0% until Jan 31, so I will transfer her/ours $ to my joint account when her promo expires.

I am lucky this round indeed. It is a back-to-back offer - my previous ended Nov 30th. ... some money already settled in TD-ISA(s) and the rest is about to leave for Manulife!

I had a promo that expired Nov 30. Others were posting about their new offers and that they were back to specifying "new money". The last few times the email that came before the previous offer expired simply said "Leave your money where it is..." So on Nov 29 I moved everything I had in Savings out of Tangerine. I kept waiting for the email and it wasn't coming. Then on Dec 5, while signed in, I noticed the announcement in "Insights" of 6% until April 30. Of course, it was "new money" after Dec 4. So I immediately activated and started moving funds back in. The email arrived later that day.

Had rate promotion at 5.85% for entire amount , and expiry date was Nov 30. I called Tangerine on Nov 22 and asked for a new rate promotion for New Deposit, they told me to check email on Nov 30. I emptied money in Tangerine before Nov 29. I received 6% promotion for new deposit on Dec 5.
Tangerine told me to call them before promotion expiry date and request a new promotion.

Think I just got an extension offer (activation required) to July 31st on this original because the promo rate applies to the baseline dated December 4th, 2023. However, the rate is dropped to 5.75% ... still a good one

Same here - I also got an offer for an upcoming extension to July 31, at 5.75%. And I was just starting to migrate funds out of Tang - guess it can stay now, since they use starting balances from Dec 4/23.

My offer of 5.75 ends May 31
I emailed as I would prefer not to have to move money around constantly as this is already old Duca HISA money they chased away in favour of providing treats to new customers… TANG kindly said to watch for newly released promos the month after mine expires so early June and extensions are very rare… I used to be loyal and not move for a quarter point here or there if I was treated fairly but no more loyalty from me for these game playing clowns
