I don't have those promos, I have not had an "offer" for a while. I keep have to calling them and bug them, it's really annoying that they don't reward their loyal clients who keep good balances with them vs getting new clients.

I don't see any 3.75% either. nada. Never get promos.

How long does the up to 3.5% last ? and is it on all existing money on all acounts ?

What is this thing i hear about some particular promos that have fees (7$) i don't see any of that either. ??

From the terms and conditions:

To be eligible for the Offer, during the Offer Period, the Eligible Client must make payments totaling at least $50 per month for a minimum of two (2) consecutive months directly to at least one Telecommunications Company. Payments must be successfully made from the Eligible Client’s Tangerine Chequing Account (including Visa Debit, pre-authorized payments, and bill payment transactions) or the Eligible Client’s Tangerine Credit Card Account where they are the Primary Cardholder on the Credit Card Account. Any payments made through a third party rather than directly to the Telecommunications Company will not be eligible to qualify for this Offer.

Bill payment transactions are eligible payments so presumably your transactions qualify.

I did pre-authorized payments to the Tangerine Credit Card because I have recurring payments as one of my 2% cash back categories.

On another forum, a member did two bill payments of $50 - one in February and another in March. April 15th and May 15th came and went and they did not receive the bonus. They sent a "message request" to Tangerine and the reply was that the member had met the requirement and awarded them the bonus $25.

I definitely did 2 bill payments (higher than $50 each), one in March and one in April - did not receive anything on May 15.
Maybe the keyword here is pre-authorized. I believe that I simply paid my bills, I did not setup a pre-authorized payment. Can you elaborate on this?

A $25 Bonus will be paid to the Eligible Client’s Tangerine Chequing Account in the subsequent month following the satisfaction of all terms and conditions applicable to the Offer.

From the FAQ:

4. How and when will the Bonus be paid?

If you meet the offer conditions, your $25 Bonus will be deposited into your Chequing Account on the 15th of the following month after all the terms and conditions have been met.

I did two pre-authorized bill payments of $50 each - one in March and one in April (both on the credit card). I received my bonus on May 15.

I was just looking at my offer (3.25%), its a promotional offer from 01 May until 31 October. Nothing yet about a fee. Currently getting the much better offer from CIBC but that ends in mid June.

But this paid-tier nonsense is Scotiabank level stuff, it totally destroys Tangerine's brand. How many people are going to pay Tangerine $7 a month to save your money?
The reviews of Tang have really tanked.
Maybe Scotia wants to ruin Tang, like CIBC keep Simplii stagnant, as it doesn't make enough profit for them.
Oh well, am done with Tang unless by fluke something useful is offered.

I hope that the paid tiered savings rate is not mandatory. Until now there was no option to opt out from tiered rates "offers". That is why I have been having it for almost 9 months now. At least it did not cost me anything.

I paid telco bills > $50 in March and April, but so far I can see no bonus in my chequing account.

They never said when it will be paid, all we know that the offer ends at the end of May. Maybe they will pay the bonus early June.

If I had a screenshot, I would have the deal!
It appeared in the App as a popup window, with a box that said ACCEPT for 3.75% by May 31. There was no details tab, so I pressed Savings to look, then clicked back to the home screen and it was gone. True story, called in but they say there is no record.
Then next day get offered a rubbish paid tier offer.
In future will take a screenshot before doing anything. When I clicked away it must have registered as a no, as there was a small X in the corner of the popup.

And the Insights in the App vs Web show some different things.
