I have no complaints about Manulife.
I recently made a couple of deposits at the ATM and they were posted to the wrong Advantage account. I asked them to post them to the correct Advantage account and they credited me with the proper interest credit.

The website is confusing indeed; states these transactions are free, then expands to indicate a charge [$1.00/$1.50] and then a footnote stating they are free with a minimum balance. Banks shouldn't let their lawyers compose their website.

Their site mentions the $1,000 minimum balance in many places besides the footnote and never said those transactions were free with no conditions:
- Unlimited free everyday banking transactions – when you keep $1,000 in your account.2
No monthly fee
There is never a monthly fee for the Advantage Account, although some transaction fees may apply. And you get free unlimited everyday banking when you keep just $1,000 in your account.2
