Does anyone know where one can go and get a paper T1 tax return and related schedules here in Toronto? I tried the Canada Post stations and was told that tax forms are no longer available at the post office. I tried 1 Front Street and all the doors are locked with signs that say"Go Away". Why does the CRA make it impossible to get a paper T1? I suppose one could call them on the telephone. Good luck if you can get through and pray the Canada Post workers don't go on strike.

You could order the T1 tax return online and have it mailed to your residence. It took about 2 weeks for it to arrive for me. Or you could print it out at 'Canada.ca' website.

I've used Studio Tax for a few years and have always accepted income split after using the optimizer.

It says I get a refund and spouse has to pay $3200.

is there a way to transfer less to spouse and bring the payment to less than $3000 to avoid instalments for 2026? And for me to get a lesser refund. Every time I adjust the amount to be less....the refund/owe amounts don't change ... then I run the optimizer and am back at where I don't want to be.

So how can I adjust, not run optimizer and see a change on the refund/amount owed?

Thanks.

Are we sure it is the same T3 slip?

Perhaps, there are two T3 slips from the financial institution. CRA has received one of the two and taxpayer has the other of the two.

I've received T3 slips that have different amounts in the boxes than any of the ones CRA shows under My Account. That's because the T3 slip I received combines multiple T3 slips appearing under My Account.
