What's not to like? CDIC insured, has option of paying interest annually. I will be definitely using it when my current Tangerine 4.0% promo ends.

OK, very helpful, and glad Haventree wanted to do that. It will save them time too by reducing phone calls. My questions have to do with joint savings accounts.

1: I assume the primary (account opening initiator) gets the T5 as it will have that person's SIN on it. Like everywhere else, but I just want to clarify.

And the practical day to day stuff -

2: Do both people have access to the joint account with their own separate EFT linked accounts for transfers in and out?

3: Does each person have a separate login ID and password?

It might be my IQ has depleted with age, as data matters didn't used to be a problem. The question I have is, could the government have made this more difficult and time wasting? Its the old joke - desperate to fill your day with activity, just ask the government a question...

So I went elsewhere and here are simple results comparing all, done in two groups (banks and independent trust companies) because without that, data for FI's like Peoples Trust/Bank wouldn't be complete for comparison purposes.

Thanks - I was trying to find the actual Balance Sheet and Income Statement on the OSFI site but I could not locate it. Were you actually able to see a Balance Sheet and Income Statement for Haventree? I know the info for all banks was there at one time because I used to follow the mounting operational losses of WealthOne Bank - but I do not see this info now. If you have the link to the Haventree Balance Sheet and Income Statement on the OSFI site, I would be interested to receive it.
