When pushed money from Haventree to Wealthsimple, it arrived on the Wealthsimple side in about 12 hours. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the outgoing transfer went through.

That's good to know. The Haventree Everyday Growth Account is like the EQ Bank Personal Account and Hubert High Interest Savings Account then.

No cheque writing. But, accepts automated funds transfer (AFT) over the Payments Canada ACSS.

Tangerine defaults to micro deposits if FI is not know to Flinks. I configured Haventree account as an external account in Tangerine. Two micro deposits from Tangerine arrived promptly to my Haventree account.

Haventree is new enough that Flinks may still be working on writing and validating whatever scraping or other methods they need to implement to retrieve from a Haventree account, and they will show up in FI source lists once that is done . Or perhaps Haventree is doing the Oaken "no linking from other FIs". There are enough places that still have some sort of manual transit info linking that I'm sure someone will report on whether it works or not.

Oaken savings accounts don't accept direct deposits or pre-authorized debits. So, one can't link to the Oaken savings account at Haventree Bank.

You'll likely have to go through an enhanced manual verification of the Haventree savings account since you won't be able to get an actual cheque to void or a stamped account verification form from online-only Haventree Bank.

The question I would like to ask is when Haventree plans to make them known to Flinks? For example, when I am trying to link my Haventree account as an external account for my EQ bank account, EQ bank web site can't find Haventree in "100+ financial institutions" known to Flinks.

From all FIs I have accounts with, I was able to link Haventree account at Tangerine only, because Tangerine switches to their old microdeposit way when Flinks can't be used.  

From Oaken, no linking to Haventree either ...

Setup starts with entering email address and password. Then they send email to verify email address. The rest of setup process is quick. In less than 20 minutes from start I was configuring autodeposit in my new account.

It went like this:

11:21 AM - Haventree email arrived asking to confirm my email address by clicking on provided link
11:27 AM - welcome email arrived from Haventree notifying that onboarding process is complete and I can now login to my new Haventree account

Account login is by email address and password. Haventree app on smartphone also accepts biometrics login.

What did you use for ID in setup? I understand photo ID such as DL and a selfie?

After setup, what is login process? ID, password and code sent to text or email?
