"I wouldn't have bothered speaking up if I wasn't also wondering if the drop box in Vancouver would be opened?"

I'm still wondering about the Toronto drop box. I passed by last year and it was still covered by a black garage bag.

Latest news from CRA is that the employees have voted for a strike mandate.

Here's a blast from the past: Does anyone remember the car lineups to drop off your paper returns at the CRA offices near midnight on Apr 30 of years past?
iirc, this was still happening in the 80's when us programmers were saying bye-bye to our beloved punched cards

I use a motorcycle. No line-up of cars. Park on the sidewalk on Pender, where the office used to be, step a few steps to where the guard was taking envelopes and tossing them into the box. About four or five years ago they moved to a place on Terminal avenue with less parking pressure.. but then COVID-19...

Not sure about this year but the past 2-3 years saw the CRA dropbox at 1 Front Street Toronto covered with a black plastic garbage bag (COVID).

The Front Street, Toronto drop box is not one of the ones listed as open yet at CRA Office and drop box locations.

Plastic bags of any colour never met the requirements of suitable masking materials.
