Hi Ron,
Yes, they offer several of these funds. If you go to "Trade Mutual Funds", there is a tab labelled HISAs. Click on it and you will see many offerings. They have ATL, RBF, TD, NBC, MIP and DYN - several of each are available. I suspect they differ by how much you have to invest.

If one's bank brokerage does not offer trailer free F series, then move on to money market mutual funds instead. CIBC's ATL238 (F class Premium) would certainly be available at Investor's Edge.

I find it a bit of an insult for some DIY brokerages to 'force' A series ISAs on retail investors but they get away with it from a regulatory perspective since ISAs are actually deposit accounts, not mutual funds. Beat them at their own game by buying F series MMFs instead

The will have the Renaissance "ATL" ones, that's a CIBC company. I'm not sure if they would offer any of the others, many bank brokerages only offer their own products - no point in giving deposits to the competition!

Non-bank brokerages like Qtrade and Questrade do offer a range; I think both of them offer the "F-series" variants, which usually pay out 0.25% more than the A-series you get from the bank brokerages (except Scotia iTrade, which allows its customers to buy their DYN f-series).

Yes, that is a good summary.

I don't care much about missing out on Sat or Sun lack of interest. It's about $5.34 per day before tax based on $100k @ 1.95%. That is a basic Starbucks offering. Buy when one has the money to buy and sell when one needs the money for something else.

Example: I got a stock dividend yesterday that was not posted until this morning May 1st in my BMOIL account. I will simply buy units BMO95142 today knowing full well it won't Settle until Monday afternoon. I have far too many other priorities to expend my time that wringing my hands about that.

So the moral of this story is to sell ISA units on a Friday, when possible, to pick up the weekend's interest and buy ISA units Monday to Thursday, to start earning interest sooner, rather than later.

Because of the T+1 settlement, the ISA buy order would need to be entered before the cutoff on Thursday if one has funds arriving in the account Friday. That way, the ISA purchase will settle on Friday and the funds will start earning interest Friday instead of Monday.

Thanks, Norman1, this is a good tip.

I supposed when I sell the ISA on Friday before the cutoff, I get to keep the interest from Friday to Sunday. Is that correct?
