I see them through my Scotia iTRADE account as well:

- 1 month 0.0%
- 3 mos 0.20%
- 6 mos 0.39%
- 1 year 1.43%

The performance numbers there for BMO95142:CA are wrong. The raw return for the last six months ending August is 1.18%, not 0.39%, based on the fund's distribution record.

Not sure where those performance numbers at Scotia iTRADE are from.

The distributions have been pure income, no return of capital.

This is a flow through mutual fund of mostly short term Tbills and commercial paper, with maybe a duration of 90 days. It is every bit as good as the brokerage ISAs such as BMT104, DYN6004 et al. When looking at https://global.morningstar.com.....MO5G/quote what makes the performance numbers worse than brokerage ISAs?

One needs to remember the decade before covid (post GFC) was a period of rather extremely low BoC overnight rates, and in 2020 and 2021, effectively zero. Money market fund yields are relatively proportional to short term paper.

Both the annual and rolling average period results reflect that perfectly and what should be expected.

Thanks Norman. I was able to find Performance information on this Money Market Fund - and have "lost my interest" in it.

If you say the last monthly distribution was 2.4% - I suspect that "distribution" includes some principal with some interest.
