Historically, the split is that only promos for financial institutions on the GIC chart get put on that page. I'm open to changing how that works, though.

The principal for both GICs was almost the same (although not identical) and yet the second GIC received almost $100 less interest! Well, I had noticed some entries in my DUCA savings account back in December - basically one GIC had been deposited with interest and then reversed back out. I just assumed it was some sort of glitch and did not think anything of it since everything was fully reversed out. When I called DUCA to investigate the shortfall of interest on the GIC, they said the GIC had been "re-set" for some reason and this was highly unusual. No explanation provided. They ended up crediting me for the missing interest the same day but it is fair to say that it only got corrected because I called in. sf-frown

M2m has been disabled by DUCA for several months, along with other self service online functions.

DUCA has become a disappointment this past year, since being a leader in providing attractive deposit options. Sadly, no more.
