But even if both cards are eligible, how does one qualify for 2 free cards, that's 270.00 a year in annual credit card fees, and Ultimate Chequing package only reimburses 150.00 a year.

Here's considering this card for their Travel Emergency Medical insurance for age 65 to 75. Think I could break even the $99 annual fee with the groceries.

Noticed something else.

Membership with Meridian Credit Union is a regulatory requirement to hold a Meridian Visa. You are not required to have other Meridian Credit Union products.

Is this a standard requirement with the credit union credit cards ... across the other provinces?

Spending above the $61,000 cap for Rogers Red World Elite Mastercard will have a reduced reward earn of 1.5%. When redeemed against Rogers-related purchases, the reward will have 1.5X gross up to 2.25%.
