They don't allow DYN6004 and DYN6005. Their mutual fund order screen doesn't recognized any DYN6… symbols.

Never liked bmo. Spouse is Montreal native and loves bmo cause they have branches even though she hasn't been in one for 15 years and she doesn't know where hers is. I agreed to consolidate at BMO last year for all our auto deposits and debits. Cause the odds are she'll outlive me... 🙂

The change is good though it makes no difference to me. I have yet to incur a brokerage charge of any kind at BMO IL this year.

The problem with BMO offers is you don't really know the rate is actually in play until 3 days after the first month end when the promotional/bonus interest is paid. So, when one of these offers lands we place $10k in the appropriate acount. Then, if promo/bonus $ appear after the first month end, we plow more $ in. Otherwise, we drain the account because resolving such issues with the big 5 requires too much time and effort.

Same here but I just got an email about the offer from BMO so I am not worried.

I wouldn't bother (maybe, it will come Tomorrow) but I would copy/paste the terms and conditions in a save place in case they don't come to their promise. Often, I had to complain and escalate. Lately, I forgot to keep trace of an unusual Scotiabank promo. Sadly, they told me I was wrong.
