When I receive my credit card statement I always transfer the total amount from my main banking account to my HSBC online banking account. Then I set up a futur payment to pay the total of my credit card on the day before it's due.
2 weeks ago, on the 28th of August I transfered 840$ in my HSBC account and setted a payment on the 5th of September to pay my bill due on the 8th of September.
BUT BECAUSE THE FUNDS HAVE TO CLEAR 1 WORK DAY BEFORE THE DATE OF THE PAYMENT, MY PAYMENT WAS REFUSED!
My credit card payment was due for today so now I'm fucked because I can't pay them today of course. I've called them and there's nothing to do, I'm waiting on the line with HSBC and I know there's nothing to do anyways.
So I'm just writing this so other people don't get charged interests because of some stupid banking rules.
I'M EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED.
