What a joke, Canada's largest and most trusted bank continues to screw their customers with a consistent bait and switch rate offer approach. While I have been a customer of RBC for over 25 years I have since moved all my savings and GICs to Achieva Financial after reviewing this site several years ago. Achieva has conistently provided me one of the best daily savings rates since that time (still 1.85%), and has always offered among the highest term deposit rates. They even give me a buck every month for taking my statement online — something RBC would never do!

Best of all my money is 100% guaranteed at Achieva. RBC should be ashamed to be so uncompetitive in this area!
