If you want to open ING account – use promo code (Orange key) and you will get $25 free deposit. And, if you will open ICICI savings account with refferal code – $20 free deposit.

Why just one account? I opened an ING Account, an HSBC Direct (soon to be renamed Advance) account as my primary everyday account since it allows bill pay and has a good set of features, and an Ally account. I move my money to wherever the highest interest rate is at the time, which out of those three is currently Ally by a large margin.

Good luck!

Use ING Direct you will get double interest from now until end of December. Plus you will get a $25 Bonus if you are referred by someone. I am very satisfied with them, they have never charged me a penny for using their services.

People's Trust offers a savings account that is currently paying 2.1%, which I believe is the best rate in the entire country.
