ICICI (4.25% from 4.50%), HSBC (4.00% from 4.25%) and Manulife (3.80% from 4.00%) have all lowered their rates, as of today at least…

Interesting how ICICI decorates the rate on their homepage with Christmas decorations and makes it look like it is a new "good" rate.

Of coz it is good, coz no body else can offer this. If you know a lil bit about financial markets and bank of canada then you would understand its a cut in interest rate by bank of canada. Yes its a new "GREAT" rate as compared to the market. I hope you would understand this. n yes ..merry christmas!!

There are some small Credit Unions in the prairies (Prairie Centre Credit Unions) that have been offering savings accounts that they refer to as Fast Track accounts at 4.0%. These rates have recently been reduced the rate to 3.75%.
