Hello, I am looking to open a good savings account that is CDIC compliant and has a high interest rate that is compounded monthly. However, I am looking into the future and want to establish myself with a bank that will be good to take out a mortgage with in the future as well.

So what is a good bank that has good services for both savings and mortgages?

For interests alone I suggest ICICI

For accessibility and future mortage I suggest HSBC

ING is now less attractive because of their financial problems.
