Canadian High Interest Savings Bank Accounts

Hi, I just checked out their website. And I believe that the 5.5% 90days promotion is over already. Their current rate is back to 3.85%.

Is there anyway way of telling if i am getting the 5.5% promo interest? My initial cheque of $10 (just to start the accound and link it) and my first bank to bank transfer were made before the 29th but when you login it only shows the current nonpromo interest rate.

I was curious about that too so I called them up and asked why the promo interest rate was not displayed in myaccount. She just said that it is mandatory to only show the current interest rate of the savings acccount. So basically she just said she looked at when my cheque was checked in and said that I was entitled the promo. I'm still not very confident that I am entitled it. Word of mouth does not give me enough proof that I have the promo. I can just confirm if I am entitled that promo by calculating the interest paid month's end which is tomorrow!

i got this too but what happens now that it has gone down to 3.75? will they actually change the bonus rate from 1.65 to 1.75? i still hope we are entitled the accumulated 5.5% promo.
